Our women’s group finds its inspiration from the Bible’s story of Naomi the Jewess, and Ruth, the Moabitess. Ruth promised to stay by Naomi until death, saying; “Your people shall become my people, and your God, my God.”
As contemporary non-Jews (like Ruth) we join with our ‘Naomis’ in supporting and serving others like us who see the need to return and be grafted into Israel as an olive tree (the Apostle Paul’s metaphor in Romans 11); recognizing our future is inseparably joined together with God’s promises and future for Israel. This is all through the atoning work of Y’shua the Promised One (Messiah) of Israel, and our Savior.
- We understand that only through the work of God’s Holy Spirit is anyone brought to saving, transforming Life in our Messiah.
- We understand God’s Holy Spirit’s (“Ruach HaChodesh”) work is in part facilitated through our words and
- We understand we cannot do this work, apart from a Ruth and Naomi-like love for one another; except by the great Love of Y’shua our Messiah for us, and our love for Him.
- Our Foundation: The Atoning work of our Messiah Y’shua Himself, and Ruth’s great declaration: “Your people shall be my people, and your God, my God.”
